Martijn Snoep specialises in EU and Dutch competition law. He has
a special focus on the regulatory telecoms practice. In addition to
advising clients in various sectors of industry, he is a litigator
before the European and Dutch courts.
Martijn defends companies against allegations of anti-trust
infringements or in anti-trust damage claims. He is also involved in
transactional work, representing clients before the European
Commission and the Dutch competition authority, or co-ordinating
multi-jurisdictional filings.
Martijn’s regular clients include
a multinational oil company, a chemicals company, pharmaceuticals
companies, a publisher of marketing information, one of the retail
banks in the Netherlands, a mobile telephony operator, a provider of
an international fixed telephony network and a European construction
company.
In 1997 Martijn worked on a number of US anti-trust cases at
Cravath, Swaine & Moore. He is a regular speaker at conferences.
Martijn publishes on procedural and substantive issues of
competition law and he is chairman of the Dutch Association of
Competition Law.
