Background and Qualifications
Robert has a varied engineering and science background with a
Bachelors degree in chemical engineering and a Masters degree in
engineering and technical management. Robert also has industry
experience in a variety of technical and technical management roles.
Practice
Based in our Christchurch office, Robert specialises in patent
applications and prosecution, novelty and infringement
investigations and advice pertaining to registered designs. Robert
particularly focuses on chemical and biochemical inventions.
Publications
Robert is a regular contributor to e.nz - the monthly magazine of
the Institute of Professional Engineers in New Zealand, writing
articles directed towards general intellectual property matters.
Professional Activities
• Lecturer in intellectual property law for the engineering
management programme at the University of Canterbury.
